This study was conducted on 36 Awassi ewes at different ages (2,3 and 4 years) together with their single lambs and damping at sheep farm / Mosul Technical Institute. Ewes were equally divided into four groups ,age of dam was considered ,and fed on four rations containing different levels of bentonite(0,1,2 and 3% respectively) after parturition for 12 weeks (weaning time) to study the effect of bentonite level on lambs growth .The results also revealed that all factors studied (level of bentonite, age of dam and sex of lambs) and significant (p>0.05) effect on weekly lamb weights ,mean weekly gain and total gain .level of bentonait had no effect on the digestibility of the different and the total nutrient
